The Truth - Is Santa Real
Walk into any department store or mall in your area and chances are youll see people walking around in Santa costumes. But is Santa real? Can one person strap on a Santa suit and deliver millions of toys in one night to good gentile boys and girls? The answer is yesSanta is very real because his power comes from inside each one of us.
Whos At The Local Store Ringing a Bell?\r If you see Santa at JC Penney and then at the Sears store it might leave you scratching your head wondering how did he get from one place to another so quick? And while were at it, when did he have time to change Santa suits since he looks different? Truth is, thats not the real Santa but rather Santas helpers who take all the childrens requests and brings them to the big man himself, whos rather busy that time of year.
Why Doesnt Santa Bring Gifts To Grown Ups?\r Kids have always been the one that St. Nick takes care of first and he learned many years ago that making kids happy is what makes grown-ups happy. Its a tough task for him to look through his Christmas costumes to decide which one to wear, not to mention the trip ahead of him. But once hes made his selection hes off.
How Does He Do It All In One Night?\r Some people say its impossible to go all around the world in one night but you have to remember, not everyone has the same clock. For example, if its daytime in the U.S. then that means in Russia its nighttime. So Santa really has two days to deliver all those toys, not just one since other countries have different times.
The Real Truth\r The truth is Santa is real and his spirit is inside everyone. Every nice thing we do for our family or for total strangers gives Santa his power. And without that love and selflessness he wouldnt have the strength to be able to visit all the good children of the world in a day. Thats why its important that children be good, not just at Christmastime, but all year long. It gives Santa the energy he needs. Plus, being kind to other people doesnt just help Santa, its always the right thing to do.

Good Deeds & The Santa Factor
Looking back, it may seem a little like cheating, but my friend Annie found a way, several years ago, to instill in her young kids the habit of performing random acts of kindness. She didn't call them that at the time-this was before the phrase became popular-she called these acts "good deeds". And here's the kicker: her kids, young as they were, were tickled to learn the habit, becoming anxious and even competitive in finding ways to help othe...
